It has not been established canonically what role, if any, Wormwood and John Hodgman played in the underground kumite tourney mentioned in "Sean and Wormwood in The Seat of Power, Part 18." Author speculation is that they were gambling on the event and the laptop won by Wormwood was part of a wager, but there remains the possibility that they were participants, managers, snack vendors, or simply enjoy underground kumite tournaments as a pleasant background to games of cribbage.
